Tuition

The tuition for the 2026-27 academic year is $28,500. This covers all school expenses, including, but not limited to: books and textbooks; art supplies; science lab supplies; school sponsored PSAT and SAT tests; school activities and field trips; the yearbook; and the Ninth Week trip.

When evaluated alongside our excellent faculty/student ratio as well as our seniors’ track record of earning extraordinary scholarship offers (on average, $300,000 in offers per graduate), Renaissance School’s tuition represents an outstanding value. As an independent school, Renaissance School does not receive funding from local, state, or federal governments and relies on tuition from enrolled families along with charitable giving from those who support our mission. The Board of Directors makes every effort to keep tuition as low as feasible, and the School’s tuition has consistently been highly competitive with other independent college preparatory high schools in the region.

Tuition Assistance

Renaissance School offers Tuition Assistance for families with a demonstrated financial need. We partner with independent third-party provider FACTS Management to evaluate that need.  For the convenience of our families, FACTS also provides tuition payment plan processing.

Renaissance School typically meets demonstrated need of up to 50% of tuition, or $14,250 for the 2026-27 school year. Priority for tuition assistance is first-come, first-served, with complete FACTS Tuition Assistance applications by December 15 given priority for our January 15 award determination for the following school year. Families may appeal Tuition Assistance award determinations once. The availability of funds is determined by the Tuition Assistance Committee. Renaissance School’s efforts to be generous with assistance are balanced with its obligation to maintain financial solvency. We anticipate that families will research all available outside resources, including extended family, to meet tuition obligations before seeking tuition assistance from Renaissance School.

It is our goal that any qualified student who would make the most of the unique experience Renaissance School offers would be able to attend; and it is our reality that the funds available for tuition assistance are limited, so that we may not be able to meet all the needs of all applying families.
