Tuition

As an independent school, Renaissance School does not receive funding from local, state, or federal governments and relies on tuition from enrolled families along with charitable giving from those who support our mission. The Board of Directors makes every effort to keep tuition as low as feasible, and the School’s tuition has consistently been less than that of other independent high schools in the region. When evaluated alongside our excellent faculty/student ratio as well as our seniors’ track record of earning extraordinary scholarship offers, Renaissance School tuition represents an outstanding value.

The tuition for the 2025-26 academic year is $27,250. This will cover all of your student’s school expenses, including, but not limited to: all books and textbooks; art supplies; science lab supplies; school sponsored PSAT and SAT tests; school activities fees and field trips; the year book; and the annual Ninth Week fee.

Tuition Assistance

Renaissance School offers tuition assistance for families with a demonstrated financial need. Renaissance School’s efforts to be generous with assistance are balanced with its obligation to maintain financial solvency and meet operating expenses. The availability of funds is determined by the Tuition Assistance Committee.

An independent-school education is one of many choices a family may make. The primary responsibility for financing a student’s independent school experience rests with the student’s family. We anticipate that families will research all available outside resources, including extended family, to meet tuition obligations before seeking tuition assistance from Renaissance School.

It is our goal that any qualified student who would make the most of the unique experience Renaissance School offers would be able to attend; and it is our reality that the funds available for tuition assistance are limited, so that we may not be able to meet all the needs of all applying families. Funds are available on a first come/first served basis and families who wish to apply for assistance should do so as soon as possible after deciding to apply. For new students enrolling in the upcoming school year, families will be expected to pay at least one-half tuition, except in special circumstances.
