Renaissance School seeks a Business Manager / Registrar for immediate hire.  The Business Manager reports to the Head of School and directly manages the daily financial operations of the school including but not limited to payroll, accounts payable and receivables, developing a budget, and ensuring existing resources are used efficiently, among other responsibilities.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment, should be detail-oriented, and should embody the school’s core values.  The candidate should be comfortable working in a small school environment with daily interactions with faculty, students, and families.  

QuickBooks expertise is required.  The ideal candidate will also have most, or all, of the following:

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Planning and organizational strengths
Bookkeeping experience
Previous experience in a non-profit organization and/or independent school
Experience with FACTS Tuition Management invoicing 
Experience with SEVIS and other similar platforms
Some IT experience
Strong writing/editing skills


The Business Manager will interact with teachers, families, and students throughout the day.  The Business Manager will also create, manage and administer school documents, including contracts, transcripts and health forms. The Business Manager reports to the Board of Directors once per month and is a member of the Tuition Assistance Committee.
